Logistics Trains
The logistics train, also called mizusumashi or milkrun, distributes components and collects the product in the factory on a Kanban or Junjo system. Thereby reducing the use of forklift trucks and stackers.The carts are designed and built according to the components, the products and the lines/cells specifications.
The logistics train is the best way to reduce transport waste, it allows to transport small quantities of various products with frequent deliveries to the workstations.
The light logistics train is a pipe structure used to transport relatively light products and components.
It is applied in the transport from the supermarket to the border of the line, and most of the carts are customized for each type of component and for each workstation.
We consider heavy logistics train the transport of heavier structures or that require forklifts for loading and unloading.
This type of train, prepared to be loaded by forklift, is responsible for the transport from the warehouse or receiving materials to the supermarket.
Carts for boxes are used for the transportation of boxes using kanban system. This type of cart has the advantage that the logistics operator doesn’t have the need to uncouple the carts or pick up the boxes manually.

As the name suggests, the sequence wagons, respect a defined sequence of production and in this case the carts are left on the line by the logistics operator. They are generally used for large parts with a wide variety or high weight.
The kits are used to transport all the components necessary for an operation using boxes, carts or wagons. The kit wagon usually carry large pieces, with great variety and heavy, without the need to decouple the wagon.
To transport the finished product or materials received and sent directly to the production line are used pallet wagons. The advantages are the possibility of the final product to be packed directly in the line and reduce material handling on reception.

Supermarkets
The supermarket is used for conditioning the components for the operator of the logistics train to supply the boarder of the line manually. Logistical cells follow the same concept, but also contain the product. Supermarkets can work on kanban or Junjo (sequence and kit).
